KC Loses First Round Game at NJCAA World Series

Kaskaskia College got off to a stumbling start at the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series Saturday, falling to Midland College of Texas, 12-2.
KC lost in five innings. Effingham High School graduate Nick Gardewine started the contest and took the loss. Kaskaskia is now 39-11 on the season and will play today (Sunday) at 11am. Midland College improved to 48-13.
