Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose wrote a letter to MLB commissioner Rob Manfred to apologize for his 1980s gambling scandal.

Charlie Hustle, who is 81 years old, is pulling out all the stops for a chance to be considered for the Hall of Fame.

In the letter, obtained and published by ‘TMZ,’ Rose applied for reinstatement back in 2015 but that attempt was denied by Manfred.
