11-12 Year-Old League

DEKALB and Arab Pest Control picked up victories in the 11-12 Year-Old League at Community Park Wednesday.

DEKALB trailed Arab Pest Control 6-0 until the bottom of the second then tallied eight runs and went on for a 14-9 win. DEKALB had nine hits in the contes.t Carson Utz was the winning pitcher.

In the second contest, Arab Pest Control jumped out to an 8-3 first inning lead and went on for a 14-3 win behind 15 hits. Luke Ludwig was the winning pitcher.

Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League

Prime Sole and Brown's Drug Store edged their opponents in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League action.

Prime Sole took a 5-3 lead then had to hold off South Central FS for a 5-4 win. Prime Sole had six hits in the contest while Nathan Barnes pitched a four-hitter.

In the second contest, Brown's Drug Store edged Dan Hecht 11-9. Brown's held an 11-7 lead and Dan Hecht tallied two runs in the sixth only to fall short.

Home runs were hit by Alex Girhart and Tristen Elkin.
