The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes improved to 23-3 on the spring with a 12-0 win over the Mt. Zion Braves Friday.

Kyle Pruemer won his fifth game against one loss with a three-hit shutout, walking three and striking out nine.

The Shoes scored two runs in the second inning, added five runs in the third, two in the fifth and three runs in the sixth inning.

At the plate for Teutopolis, Jared Waldhoff doubled and singled, scored a run and drove in a run, Chase Wendling singled and drove in a run, Bobby Wenthe doubled and singled and scored a run, Pruemer singled and scored, Darren Probst homered and singled, scored three times and drove in three runs, Derek Smith singled and walked and scored two runs, Michael Gillespie singled, scored twice and drove in a run, Reed Hardiek singled and drove in three runs, and Cody Will singled three times, scored a run and drove in three runs.

St. Elmo improved to 10-6 on the spring with a 12-2 five-inning win over Mulberry Grove Friday. 

The Eagles scored five runs in the third, three in the fourth and four more in the fifth to seal the win. 

Noah Flowers got the win, allowing the two runs on five hits, not walking a batter and fanning six.

At the plate for St. Elmo, Levi Maxey drove in a run, Garrett Bartels doubled, Connor Beasley singled, Dalton Parks singled and drove in a run, Nick Bauer doubled and drove in three runs, Malachi Maxey singled and drove in two runs and Ben Davis doubled and drove in a run.
