Cardinals Trade Wisdom for Robinson

The St. Louis Cardinals continue to wheel and deal. The Cardinals traded Patrick Wisdom to the Texas Rangers for uiltiy man Drew Robinson.

Robinson, 26, has been in the Major Leagues for two years since making his debut in 2017. He competed in 48 games that year and 47 last season.

Orioles To Name Cubs' Hyde As Manager

The Baltimore Orioles will reportedly name Chicago Cubs bench coach Brandon Hyde as their next manager. Hyde will replace Buck Showalter, who was let go after the Orioles finished a franchise-worst 47-115 last season.

Phillies Sign McCutchen

The Philadelphia Phillies have signed free agent outfielder Andrew McCutchen to a 3-year, $50 million deal. McCutchen had 20 homers, 65 RBI, and 14 steals over 155 games with the Giants and Yankees last season.

Blue Jays Release Tulowitzki

The Toronto Blue Jays have released shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. Tulowitzki hasn't played in the majors since July 28th, 2017, when he suffered ligament damage after stepping on another player's foot while running the bases. Tulowitzki has two years and $38 million remaining on his contract.
