Red Sox Clinch AL East Title With Win Over Yankees

The Boston Red Sox clinched the American League East title Thursday night and added insult to injury by doing it at the home of their arch rivals in Yankee Stadium.

The Red Sox are now 104-49, tying this year’s team with the 1946 Sox for second-most wins ever in franchise history. The 1912 Red Sox hold that record with 105 wins.
