St. Anthony improved to 7-1 on the season with a 19-5 win over Ramsey in non-conference action Monday.

Jack Hoene got the win with three innings of two-hit, one walk shutout ball, striking out six. Logan Antrim gave up Ramsey's five runs in an inning of work on three hits and three walks. Seth Hotze pitched a shutout inning, walking two and fanning two.

Teutopolis 4, South Central 0

Trenton Schwerdt pitched a one-hit shutout for the Wooden Shoes, walking one and striking out seven; Logan Lotz got the lone South Central hit; Hunter Brandt took the loss for the Cougars, allowing three earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three; for Teutopolis: Tyler Runde singled and scored; Mitch Hemmen scored a run; Trenton Schwerdt walked and scored; Clint Weber doubled and singled and drove in three runs; Mitch Hardiek singled and walked; Evan Addis walked and scored

Teutopolis is now 8-1 on the fall; South Central is 6-2 on the campaign.

Brownstown/St. Elmo scored a run in the bottom of the 7th to defeat Mulberry Grove 6-5 at Brownstown Monday. Bryton Pruett got a walkoff double with one out for the game-winner; Nick Rosborough got the win in relief on two innings of one-run work; it was BSE 4, Mulberry Grove after the first inning, BSE made it 5-3 in the 4th, but Mulberry Grove got a run in the 5th to pull within 5-4; after Mulberry Grove tied the game with a run in the top of the 7th, BSE won it in the bottom of the inning; Pruett also singled; also for BSE: Caleb Atwood 1-for-3; Nick Rosborough 1-for-3; Andy Goldsborough double and 2 RBI; Alex Higgs singled and scored the game winning run in the 7th.

The win improves the BSE season record to 3-4, 1-0 in the Egyptian Illini Conference.
