Here's a recap of high school and junior high baseball action from Friday, September 7:

SIGEL ST. MICHAEL 5, SACRED HEART 0

St. Michael had seven hits, led by Brock Fearday with two doubles

For Sacred Heart: McDevitt double; Boyajian single; Wallace double and single

Josh McDevitt took the loss, going six innings and striking out nine

JASPER COUNTY 8, ST. ANTHONY 4

Reich got the win, Levitt took the loss

For Jasper County: Mahaffey went 3-for-3; Flowers was 3-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI; Einhorn was 3-for-3 with two doubles; Baltzell had two hits

For St. Anthony: Sehy, Wines, Levitt, Roepke and Jansen each had a hit, with Wines doubling and Roepke driving in a run

Jasper County is now 12-2 on the season

BROWNSTOWN/ST. ELMO 12, CHBC 0

Forbes got the win, Manley took the loss

For BSE: Forbes two singles and walk; Stine single; Atwood single and walk; Behl walk; King single and walk; Maxey single and walk; Buchanan single and walk

For CHBC: Jason Manley single; Rylee Fisher single

CHBC now 3-10 on the season

NORTH CLAY 8, BROWNTOWN/ST. ELMO 2

Fleener in relief got the win, while Pruett took the loss

For BSE: Nate Philpot 2-for-3; Caleb Atwood 2-for-3; Jace McWhorter 1-for-4; Wyatt Chandler 1-for-4, RBI; Alex Higgs one-for-three, double, RBI

BSE is now 2-4 on the season, 2-3 in the National Trail Conference

DIETERICH 14, CHBC 0

A no-hitter for Dieterich's Hunzinger and Bushur, fanning nine between them, Buzzard took the loss

For Dieterich: Hunzinger was three-for-three with a walk and 4 RBI; Niebrugge had two hits with 3 RBI; Gephart had two hits and 2 RBI; Boerngen had a hit and drove in two runs; Bohnhoff, Hall and Bushur each had a hit
