The Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals both lost late leads and lost the games as a result Sunday.

Bud Norris allowed five runs in a span of 24 hours Sunday and Monday, leading to two consecutive losses for the Redbirds. Ironically, the Monday loss led to a win for Washington reliever Greg Holland, who the Cardinals released in April, making way for Norris to take over as the closer.

Meawhile, the Cubs got a two-run homer from Anthony Rizzo late to take a 3-2 lead over Milwaukee, only to see Carl Edwards, Jr. and Steve Cishek lose the lead and the game 4-3.
