Altamont, T-town, S. Central Pick Up Baseball Wins

Altamont High School played host to Ramsey and picked up a 13-5 high school baseball victory Thursday.
Ramsey took a 1-0 first inning lead and held that until the third inning when the Indians blasted loose with 10 runs.
Altamont had 10 hits led by Jacob Robbins with a single, double and two RBI and Kaden Eirhardt with a double. Seven other players had a single each. Dakota Kuhlman drove in two runs.
Hunter Cripe was the winning pitcher, going four innings, allowing two hits, one run, four walks and striking out four.

At Teutopolis
Woodlawn and Teutopolis went through a scoreless first two innings before Woodlawn scored two runs in the third and led 3-2 after five in action Thursday.
The Wooden Shoes then tied the score in the sixth and won it in the bottom of the seventh.
T-town had five hits in the contest led by Evan Addis with a single, double and two RBI and Trenton Schwerdt with a double. Brock Deters had a single and an RBI.
Schwerdt went 4.1 innings, allowing five hits, three runs, two walks and striking out two. Brock Deters came on to go the final 2.2 innings for the win. He allowed two hits, one walk and struck out one.

South Central took the early lead in the second inning and never looked back in a 10-2 win over Cisne Thursday.
The Cougars held a 4-1 second inning lead and tacked on five more in the third.
C. Dodson had two singles, a home run and three RBI to lead the way for the winners. H. Brandt had a single and drove in two runs.
A. Lybarger was the winning pitcher, going all seven innings, allowing four hits, two runs, three walks and striking out four.

Mulberry Grove had eight hits while CHBC had five. CHBC was led by Manley and Radloff with a single and an RBI each and Doty, Miller and Burrus with a single each.
