Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School played host to Teutopolis in baseball action Tuesday and fell to the Wooden Shoes, 6-4.
The Bullpups held a 3-0 first inning lead. T-town tallied two in the second. St. Anthony pushed its lead to 4-2 in the fifth. T-town came back in the top of the seventh with four runs to pull out the win.
T-town had only four hits led by C. Bloemer and C. Siemer with a double each. Bloemer added two RBI.
G. Sehy led St. Anthony with a single, double and an RBI while B. Jansen had two singles.

At Effingham
Effingham Junior High School tallied a 4-1 victory over Flora Tuesday.
The Mustangs took a 1-0 second inning lead but Flora tied in the fourth. Effingham came back with a run in the fifth and two in the sixth.
Maxedon had a double for Effingham and drove in two runs. Raddatz added two singles.
The Mustangs are now 5-3 on the season.

Jasper County tallied a 12-2 win over Edwards County (Albion) in competition Tuesday.
Brandon Einhorn picked up the pitching win. Carder Reich, Owen Mahaffey and Issac Flowers had three hits each for Jasper County. Max Meinhart had two hits.
Jasper County improves to 7-0 on the season.

North Clay (Louisville) took a 2-0 first inning lead and never let loose in an 8-6 victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in action Tuesday.
North Clay banged out 12 hits in the game led by Logan Fleener with three singles, a double and an RBI, Alex Boose with two singles, a double and three RBI, Connor Dawkins with a single, double and two RBI and Levi Smith with a double and two RBI.
CHBC was led by Kenny Robbins with a single and three RBI.
