Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School slammed Oblong in baseball action Monday, 16-0 in three innings.

The Bullpups tallied five in the first and 11 in the second. E. Levitt threw a no-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts.

C.Wines had two doubles while W. Hoene had a single, double and three RBI and G. Sehy a double and two RBI.

At Charleston

Jasper County claimed a 7-3 victory over Charleston Monday.

Issac Flowers was the winning pitcher. Carder Reich had a single and double for the winners while Brandon Einhorn and Meinhart had a double each.

 

At Newton

Newton St. Thomas downed Red Hill (Bridgeport) 13-5 Monday.

Dylan Gier was the winning pitcher.

Leading the Saints in hitting were Drew Buerster who went four-for-four with three RBI, Grant Ochs who went two-for-three as did Gus Bierman.

The Saints improve to 2-1 on the season.

 

At Neoga

Neoga edged Dieterich 4-3 in action Monday.

Quintin Richards was the winning pitcher.

Brady Reynolds had one hit and an RBI while Bryar Hennesay had two hits and an RBI, Trey Sheehan one hit, Eli Rentfro three hits and Devonn Kingery one hit.
