Mid-Illinois Concrete Wins Prep League Crown

Mid-Illinois Concrete claimed the championship of the Boys Prep Baseball  League Tournament Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Mid-Illinois stepped out to a 4-1 first ininng lead on Effingham Asphalt and went on for the 5-2 victory.

The winners had one hit in the contest, a double by Lane Flowers. Connor Wines had an RBI.

Effingham Asphalt was led by Eric Kollman and Keegan Hemrich with a double each. Hemmen added an RBI. Mason Robinson had two singles and an RBI.
