K. Wohltman Construction pounded out 15 runs in downing Drs. Sehy & Jones Optometrists in the opening game of the Junior Babe Ruth League Tournament at Paul Smith Field Tuesday.

K. Wohltman stepped out to a 4-1 first inning lead and scored in five of the six innings.

Collin Kinkelaar had a single, double and three RBI while Kendall Schmidt had three singles and three RBI for the winners. Colton Fearday chipped in with two singles and three RBI.

Jett Volpi and Joe Matteson had a single and double each for Sehy & Jones. Matteson added an RBI. Max Hardiek had two singles.

Tri-Power Towing bounced Washington Savings Bank 19-7 in five innings in the second contest.

Tri-Power trailed 5-3 after the first inning then took a 10-5 lead in the second and never trailed again.

Washington Savings Bank outhit Tri-Power 7-6. Chase Woomer led Washington Savings with two singles.

Ralen Reardon led the winners with a single, double and five RBI while Quaid Schlanser had a double and four RBI.

Tri-Power will now meet K. Wohltman Construction at 7 p.m. today for the championship.
