Prep League Results -- July 10

Effingham Vet Clinic opened the evening in Prep League action with an 8-1 victory over Effingham Asphalt at Evergreen Hollow Park Tuesday.

Effingham Vet took a 3-0 first inning lead. Asphalt pulled within 3-1 in the top of the fourth but Effingham Vet tallied three more in the bottom of the inning and tacked on two in the fifth.

Quest Hull led Effingham Vet Clinic with two singles.

Zeke Rippetoe led Effingham Asphalt with two singles and an RBI.

The Teutopolis Jaguars then downed Taylor Law Offices, 10-8.

Both teams had six hits in the game. Ryan Koester led the winners with two singles, a double and three RBI. Taylor Law had six singles by six different players.

The Jaguars trailed Taylor Law 8-7 after four innings then tied in the top of the fifth and scored two runs in the sixth.
