NAPA and Dairy Queen advanced in the 11-12 Year-Old League Tournament with victories Tuesday evening at McDevitt Field.

NAPA, seeded sixth, opened with a 12-4 upset victory over No. 3 Arab Pest Control.

Arab held a 1-0 first inning lead before NAPA broke the game open with a seven-run third. Arab never got back in the game.

NAPA banged out a whopping 16 hits led by Carter Donaldson with two singles, a triple and an RBI, Braden Verdeyen with three singles, a double and two RBI, Brennan Goering with two singles and two RBI, Landon Wallace with two doubles and three RBI and Peyton Whitacre with two singles and two RBI.

Camden Raddatz led Arab with a double.

Brennan Goering picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter.

In the second game, second-seeded Dairy Queen had a tough time with No. 7 Northside Ford but pulled out a 9-8 win.

The two teams were tied at 4-4 in the first before Dairy Queen took a 7-5 lead in the second then added on a single run in the third. Northside Ford then tied the game at 8-8 in the top of the fourth before Dairy Queen scored the winning run in the bottom of the frame.

Aden Eirhart led the winners in hitting with a single, double and an RBI while Braxton Lewis had a solo home run. Brodie Belcher threw a two-hitter.

The two hits were by Teddy Dietzen and Trey Sheehan.

NAPA and Dairy Queen now meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday where the winner then advances to the title contest while the loser will play for third.
