Junior Babe Ruth League Results -- July 2

Wohltman Construction edged Washington Savings Bank, 7-6 in Junior Babe Ruth League action at Paul Smith Field Monday.

Washington Savings edged out to a 3-2 opening inning lead but Wohltman Construction came back to lead 4-3 in the top of the second and 6-5 going into the sixth. Washington Savings tied in the bottom of the inning. Wohltman then tallied the winning run in the seventh.

In the second contest, Sehy & Jones zipped out to a 7-3 first inning lead and went on for a 10-5 win over Tri-Power Towing.

Sehy & Jones had only four hits led by Tyler Budde with a double and two RBI.

Tri-Power Towing had eight hits led by Wyatt Chandler with a double and RBI, Samuel Vonderheide with a single and double and Kalen Reardon with a double.
