The Teutopolis Falcons edged Effingham Asphalt 2-1 in Prep League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Thursday.

The two teams were tied at 1-1 in the second before the Falcons tallied the winning run in the third.

The Falcons had only one hit, a single by Bennet Thompson with an RBI.

Zeke Rippetoe had two singles and an RBI for Effingham Asphalt.
