Prep League Results -- June 14

Effingham Asphalt edged the Teutopolis Warriors, 3-2 in Prep League competition at Evergreen Hollow Park Thursday.

Asphalt scored all of its runs in the first inning. The Warriors scored a single run in the first and one in the sixth.

Effingham Asphalt had only two hits, a double by Zeke Rippetoe and a single by Mason Robinson who added an RBI.

In the second contest, the Teutopolis Regulators downed Effingham Vet Clinic, 8-5. Effingham Vet Clinic took a 4-2 opening inning lead. The Regulators pulled within 4-3 in the third then took the lead for good in the fifth with three runs.

Joey Niebrugge had a single, double and two RBI for the winners while Caden Hoene added two singles and an RBI.

Logan Cornett led Effingham Vet Clinic with two singles, a triple and an RBI while Quest Hull had two singles, a double and an RBI. Noah Dill chipped in with three singles and an RBI.
