CHICAGO -- The Chicago Cubs have found the range and are starting to turn things around offensively.

Kris Bryant, Addison Russell and Anthony Rizzo found the home run zone with Bryant hitting the 100th of his career, as the Cubs swept the Marlins 13-4 at Wrigley Field Wednesday. Bryant connected on his first at-bat off Wei-Yin Chen and hit his homer on the anniversary of his Major League first home run in 2015.

Rizzo went on a tear going three for five at the plate with five RBI.

The big innings came in the third when the Cubs batted around and brought home eight runs. Russell doubled to start the ining and Bryant followed with a double scoring Russell. Javier Baez had an RBI single and Rizzo hit a three-run homer. Willson Contrerars tripled and came home on a sacrifice fly by  David Bote. Russell then homered to finish the scoring.

Rizzo had an RBI double in the fourth and then had another in the sixth. Contrerars doubled home Rizzo and tripled in the eighth.

Cubs starter Jose Quintana went six innings of one-run ball, striking out five and walking two. Justin Hancock came on in the seventh, after coming up from Triple-A Iowa, and struck out the first batter before giving up a two-run homer.
