T-town 14U Wins Vandalia Round Robin

VANDALIA -- The Teutopolis 14U captured the championship of the Vandalia Round Robin Tournament Sunday.

In the opening contest, T-town beat host Vandalia 5-2. T-town broke a 2-2 tie with a three-run fifth.

T-town had four hits, all singles by four different players.

In the second contest, Teutopolis defeated Millstadt Xplosion, 8-1. T-town led 3-0 until the fifth then had a five-run inning.

T-town had eight hits led by Bushur with a single and double.

T-town then defeated Vandalia Black, 8-2. The score was tied at 2-2 in the top of the fifth but T-town came back with a five-run bottom of the fifth and tacked on a final run in the sixth.

Bushur had a single and drove in two runs.
