NTC Baseball Tournament Pairings Released

Pairings for the National Trail Conference Baseball Tournament have been released.

Effingham St. Anthony drew the No. 1 seed followed by Dieterich, Neoga, Altamont, South Central, North Clay (Louisville), Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Brownstown/St. Elmo and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

The tournament begins Friday with a lead-in game that features No. 8 BSE against No. 9 CHBC at Paul Smith Field. Game time is 4:15 p.m.

St. Anthony will take on the winner of that contest Monday at 4:15 p.m. followed by No. 4 Altamont facing No. 5 South Central at 7 at Paul Smith Field. Over at Evergreen Hollow Park, No. 2 Dieterich faces No. 7 Windsor/Stew-Stras at 4:15 followed by No. 3 Neoga against No. 6 North Clay at 7.

The tourney continues Wednesday with semifinal games and finishes out Friday, October 6 with the third place game at 4:15 p.m. and the championship at 7 at Paul Smith Field.
