ODIN -- Effingham St. Anthony defeated Odin 18-3 in Monday high school baseball action.

Bryson Wall drove in four runs with a double in the second, a single in the third and a triple in the fourth.

The Bulldogs took a 5-1 lead in the second inning then added on four in the third, six in the fourth and three in the fifth.

St. Anthony had its hitting shoes on as 11 players got hits in the contest, 16 of the 21 for extra bases. Davis Tingley had three doubles and three RBI, Austin Kline two doubles and three RBI, Greg Utz a double, home run and three RBI, Joseph Kabbes a solo homer, Blake Niebrugge a single and double, Colin Koester three doubles and an RBI and Adam Levitt two doubles.

Gavin Braunecker threw a five-hitter with one walk and eight strikeouts.

At Bluford

Webber Township (Bluford) edged visiting Brownstown/St. Elmo 7-6.

Webber Township edged out to a 3-2 first inning lead and led 4-3 after four. Webber then pushed its lead to 7-5 in the fifth. BSE tallied a final run in the sixth.

Nate Philpot went four for five with four singles for BSE. Caleb Atwood had a single, double and an RBI while Hunter Strauch had a double and three RBI.

BSE drops to 9-7 on the season.

At Bluford

At Altamont

Altamont jumped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and never looked back in a 6-2 win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Monday.

Altamont tacked on two more in the fifth. The Hatchet's two runs came in the top of the seventh.

Alek Biggs was the winning pitcher, going six innings, allowing four hits, three walks and striking out eight.

Kaleb Whitt had two singles and an RBI while Wyatt Vaughn had two singles.

The Hatchets were led by Beau Bennett with a single and triple and Logan Greuel with two singles and an RBI.

At Altamont

Dieterich broke a 1-1 tie with a three-run second and went on to beat Ramsey 12-2 in five innings via the 10-run rule Monday.

The Movin' Marooons had nine hits led by Schmidt, McClain and Flach with two singles each. Schmidt had four RBI, Flach two and McClain one. Will added a double and Thoele had a single and drove in two runs.

Flach was the winning pitcher on a four-hitter with three walks and four strikeouts.

At Dieterich
