Teutopolis High School trailed Effingham St. Anthony 1-0 until the third then took the lead and never let loose in an 8-6 baseball victory Friday.
The Shoes scored two in the third, four in the fifth and two in the sixth. The Bulldogs made a comeback attempt, trailing 8-4 going into the bottom of the seventh. St. Anthony tallied two but couldn't get over that four point deficit.
T-town had nine hits led by Kremer with two singles and an RBI and Smith with two singles.
St. Anthony had two home runs, one by Joseph Kabbes with two RBI and a solo shot by Blake Niebrugge. Davis Tingley added two singles and an RBI.
The Bulldogs came back Saturday to take a doubleheader over Putnam County.
The Bulldogs won 10-0 behind four-hit pitching by Kabbes. Kabbes went five innings, allowing no runs on four hits, no walks and striking out seven.
Greg Utz had a solo home run while Niebrugge added a single, home run and four RBI. Austin Kline chipped in with a single, double and two RBI.
St. Anthony then took a 15-8 win over Putnam County.
The two squads were tied at 4-4 in the second inning Putnam County took a 5-4 lead in the third. St. Anthony came back with four runs to lead 8-5 in the fourth. Putnam County pulled within 8-7 in the top of the sixth but St. Anthony went out with seven runs in the bottom of the frame for the 15-8 win.
The Bulldogs banged out 17 hits in the contest led by Aaron Webb with two singles, a double and an RBI, Hunter Stephens with a single, double and three RBI, Jarod Hoene with a single, triple and three RBI, Kaden Fearday with a single, triple and two RBI, Jack Hoene with a single, double and two RBI and Guy with a single, double and an RBI.

Neoga traveled to South Central and fell to the homestanders 6-4 in Friday competition.
The Cougars took a 4-1 first inning lead and never looked back.
Dodson had a single and double for the Cougars while Geiler added a double and an RBI and Lotz two singles and an RBI.
Neoga was led by Ramert with a home run and two RBI and Andrews with a double.

Dieterich took a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning over Cisne but the Runnin' Lions came back to tie the score in the bottom of the seventh.
The Movin' Maroons then tallied the winning run in the eighth for a 5-4 victory Friday.
Dieterich had 10 hits led by McClain with two single, a double and an RBI and Hunzinger with two singles.
Bohnhoff picked up the pitching win, going 6.2 innings, allowing five hits, four runs, three walks and striking out 13.
