LAWRENCEVILLE -- Casey-Westfield captured the championship of the Class 2A Lawrenceview Parkview Baseball Regional Tuesday.

Casey-Westfield defeated Jasper County 7-1. Overbeck had a single and double while Short had a double and Chrysler and Richards two singles each for the winners.

Schafer had a double for Jasper County.

Casey-Westfield advances to the Teutopolis Sectional Saturday to face the host Wooden Shoes at 11 a.m.
