TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School edged out to a 3-1 first inning lead and went on for a 10-4 win over Odin in baseball action Monday.
Odin tied the score in the top of the fourth at 4-4 but the Shoes scored three in the bottom of the frame then scored three more in the sixth.
Kremer had a single, two doubles and drove in two runs for the Shoes. Jansen had two doubles and three RBI while Smith had two singles.
Odin was led by Smith with two singles, a double and two RBI, Roberts with a double and Parrish with two singles.
Weber came on in the fifth, going 2.2 innings, allowing one hit, no walks and three strikeouts for the pitching win to improve to 2-0.
Teutopolis now sports a 15-1 record.

At Bluford
Dieterich pounded home 12 runs ending the game against Webber Township (Bluford) in the fifth via the 10-run rule, 12-2 Monday.
Weber held a 1-0 first inning lead before the Movin' Maroons tied in the top of the second then had a four-run third and a seven-run fourth.
Thoele had a home run and three RBI for the winners while Campton added a double. McClain picked up the pitching win on an eight-hitter with two walks and three strikeouts.

Brownstown/St. Elmo picked up a first round 13-0 victory in the Egyptian-Illini Conference Tournament Monday behind the no-hit pitching of Nate Philpot.
Philpot went five innings against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, allowing no hits, three walks and striking out seven.
BSE edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then tallied seven in the third and five in the fourth to end the game, Philpot had two singles and drove in a run while Rocky Himes had a single, double and two RBI. Bryton Pruett and Lewis Brown had a double and two RBI each.
In the second contest, Ramsey downed Mulberry Grove 7-4.
Today's games feature BSE against Mulberry Grove at 4:15 p.m. and Ramsey taking on CHBC at 7.
