SANDOVAL -- North Clay (Louisville) pounded Sandoval 20-0 in three innings of junior high baseball Friday.
North Clay had 10 hits led by Weidner with a triple, home run and five RBI. Fleener and Ingram had two singles and three RBI each. Griffy had two singles and two RBI.
Walker was the winning pitcher on a no-hitter through two innings with three walks and two strikeouts. Dawkins came on in the final inning, allowing one hit, one walk and striking out one.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City captured a 5-2 win over Brownstown/St. Elmo Friday. CHBC took a 1-0 first inning lead then added on three in the third and one in the seventh.
CHBC had 10 hits led by Hilvety-Southard and Rhodes with a single and a double each and Burrus and Schlanser with two singles each. Buzzard added a double.
SEB had two hits.
In a Saturday contest, CHBC downed Webber Township (Bluford) 18-2. The Bobcats took a 4-1 lead in the second inning then broke the game wide open with an eight-run third.
Burrus and Lamb had two singles each while Buzzard added a triple.

Altamont stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and went on for a 10-7 victory over Neoga Friday.
Reardon had four singles and an RBI for the winners while Frost and Phillips had two singles each. Phillips brought home four runs.
Neoga had five players with a single each.

Altamont Lutheran gave up five runs in the second inning but still went on to beat Newon St. Thomas 16-6 in Friday action.
Altamont Lutheran had 12 hits while holding St. Thomas to two. The Rockets took a 1-0 lead in the first inning then had a four-run second. Mason Robinson singled off Kye Bergbauer driving in a run while AJ Kopplin singled, driving in another run.
The Rockets then scored five runs in the third inning on singles by Logan Cornett, Kopplin and a triple by Hayden Siebert.
Robinson earned the win for Altamont Lutheran going 2 1/2 innings, allowing one run, two hits and striking out three.
Noah Klimpel, Robinson, Tyler Robbins, Kopplin and Siebert each had multiple hits. Cornett had three RBI. Klimpel had seven stolen bases.
Mason Schafer had two hits and four RBI for St. Thomas.
