DIETERICH -- Neoga Junior High School stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and went on to bounce Dieterich 19-1 in five innings of baseball Monday.

Justin Bullock had a single and double for the winners while Zac Cambell had a single and triple. Paci McClure added a double and Will O'Dell two singles.

Three pitchers threw a no-hitter through three innings before the final pitcher gave up one hit for Neoga.

At Wayne City

Wayne City played host to Brownstown/St. Elmo and was a 9-3 winner.

BSE held a 3-1 lead after three innings but Wayne City had an eight-run fourth.

Scott threw a no-hitter with six walks and three strikeouts. Horton had a single and double for the winners. The game was called in the fifth due to lightning and rain.

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis took a 2-0 lead in the second inning and downed Vandalia 10-4 Monday.

T-town pushed that lead to 3-0 after four. Vandalia tallied a run in the top of the fifth but T-town came right back with four runs and scored three more in the sixth.

K. Althoff had a single and double for the Shoes while Bushur had a home run and three RBI. Buehnerkemper had two singles as did Pruemer and Schmidt. Schmidt added two RBI and Pruemer one.

Buehnerkemper went all seven innings, allowing seven hits, one walk and striking out four.

Teutopolis won the B contest 15-9.

At Sigel

Sigel St. Michael claimed a 3-1 win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Monday.

St. Michael tallied a run in the fourth then tacked on two in the fifth. CHBC scored its lone run in the sixth.

The Sharpshooters were led by Fearday with a double. Croy was the winning pitcher on a three-hitter with two walks and a whopping 18 strikeouts.

CHBC was led by Quaid Schlanser with two singles and Noah Hilvety-Southard with a double.
