PAC Team Extreme, a squad consisting of baseball players from St. Anthony, Effingham and Teutopolis, is competing this weekend at a tournament at the University of Notre Dame.

Team Extreme saw its first action Thursday in a contest against Top Tier-Darnell and the local squad won 1-0. Team Extreme scored the lone run of the contest in the top of the ninth inning.

Team Extreme had two hits and Joseph Kabbes had the RBI. E. Dust was the winning pitcher on a five-hitter with six strikeouts.

The squad is to play a doubleheader Friday, taking on Cougars Baseball at 6pm and then playing Aces Baseball Club at 8:15pm.

PAC's performance in those first days will determine when they play the remainder of the weekend.

Chris Koester is the head coach of PAC Team Extreme.
