Washington Savings Bank claimed the opening game Monday evening at Paul Smith Field in the Junior Babe Ruth League Tournament.

Washington Savings tallied an 8-2 victory over Tri-Power Towing. Washington Savings took a 1-0 first inning lead then had a four-run second.

Sam Thompson, Ben Thompson and Kolin Waymoth had two singles each for the winners. S. Thompson and Waymoth had two RBI each.

Conner Weber had two singles and an RBI for Tri-Power Towing.

In the second game, Sehy & Jones Optometrists tallied four runs in the third and led 4-3 in the fourth inning. Sehy & Jones had nine runs in the fifth and finished out with a 13-3 victory.

Sehy & Jones had 10 hits  led by Kaden Eirhart with two doubles and two RBI, Colon Fielitz with two singles and three RBI and Tanner Stephens with two singles and two RBI.

Kyle Pemberton had a triple for Wohltman.

Washington Savings Bank will now face Sehy & Jones Wednesday at 6 p.m. for the tournament championship.
