BROWNSTOWN -- Altamont trounced Brownstown 19-1 in five innings via the 10-run rule Friday in high school baseball action.

Altamont took a 1-0 first inning lead then added on three runs in the second and batted around, scoring nine runs in the third. The Indians finished out with three runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth.

Brownstown's lone run came in the fourth inning.

Altamont had 19 hits in the contest led by Ziegler with three singles, a triple and three RBI, Finn with two singles, a triple and an RBI, Ruckman with a single, triple and two RBI. Hankins picked up the pitching win on a two-hitter with three walks and eight strikeouts.
