North Clay (Louisville) hosted Dieterich and handed the Movin' Maroons a 10-4 loss in high school baseball action Monday evening.
The Cardinals stepped out to a 6-2 opening inning lead over Dieterich and the game was never in doubt from that point on. North Clay banged out 19 hits in the contest and was aided by five Dieterich errors.
Hildebrand had three singles and three RBI for the winners. Clifton had a single, double and an RBI as did Cox. McNeely had three singles. Trinkle picked up the pitching win.
Dieterich was led by Tanner Traub with a single, double and an RBI.

Webber Township took an early lead and was never headed in the win. The squad tallied 14 hits in the game and South Central contributed four errors.
South Central had eight hits in the contest led by Dylan Smith with a double. Dan Diss, Noah Powless and Kyle Bray had a single and an RBI each. The loss was the first of the season for the Cougars who drop to 4-1.
