Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League -- July 1

South Central FS edged Taylor Law Offices 5-4 in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League play Tuesday evening at Community Park.

Taylor Law held a 1-0 lead after two innings and led 3-0 in the top of the third. However, South Central FS tallied four runs in the bottom of the third to push ahead. Taylor Law tied the score in the fifth but  South Central FS came back with the winning run in the bottom of the sixth.

Will Hoene pitched a four-hitter. Mendella had two triples and three RBI while Schnieder had a triple and an RBI.

Hoene, Castillo and Niebrugge had a double each for Taylor Law. Castillo had three RBI while Niebrugge had one.

In the second contest, Russ Braunecker dominated in a 12-2 win over Elks Club. Braunecker took a 3-0 first inning lead and the game was over.

Braunecker had eight hits in the contest led by Maxedon with a single, triple and an RBI, Dill with a double and an RBI and Kaleb Boggs with a single, double and five RBI.

Boggs also pitched the victory on a one-hitter. Kalber had the lone hit, a single, for Elks Club.

In the final contest, Tingley Insurance downed Scott Mosher Country Insurance 11-5. Tingley held a 5-3 lead in the fourth and never relinquished that lead.

Volpi had a double, triple and an RBI for the winners while Massey added a triple and three RBI.

Gordon had a single, double and two RBI and Matteson and Burgess a double each. Matteson had two RBI and Burgess one RBI.
