Lila M. Braundmeier, 57, of Troy, formerly of Farina died at 2:37am Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood with burial to follow at Keens Chapel Cemetery, rural LaClede. Visitation is 5 – 8 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the family.

Lila was born on April 1, 1955 in LaClede, IL the daughter of Louie and Neoma (Pauley) Simmons. She married Larry Braundmeier on September 12, 1986 in Farina.  She was a homemaker. Lila enjoyed playing games, watching Lifetime movies, listening to music, and her family and friends.

Survivors include her caring husband of 25 years; Larry of Troy, loving children; Shannon (Reggie) Key of San Antonio, TX, Juan (Jennifer) Vasquez of Effingham, Felix (girlfriend, Katie Thomason) of Troy, Beth Braundmeier of Troy, and Sarah (fiancée, Danny Borries) Braundmeier of Effingham, adoring grandchildren; Reggie Vasquez, Reginald Key Jr., Samantha Mathews, Christopher Key, Selena Key, Drew Vasquez, Shanice Key, and Lucas Vasquez, great grandchildren; Jeremiah Key, Uriah Vasquez, and Destiny Key, brother; Jesse (Irma) Simmons of LaClede, sisters; Rita (Sonny) Hites of Altamont, Mary Ellen Ingram of St. Peter, and Glenda (Robert) Strackeljohn of Iola, and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson; Anthony Vasquez, brothers; Richard, Louie Paul, Verle Wayne, and 2 infant twins, sisters; Alietha White, Gladys Zavala, and Carolyn Tate, brother in law; Verle White, and sister in law; Mary Jane Simmons.

Lila will be missed by all.
