Brenda M. Sapp, 49, of Altamont died at 8:45pm Monday, November 18, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 at First Baptist Church in Altamont with Rev. Dr. Lowell L. Donnelley officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 7pm Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery in Effingham. Services are in care of Hall Funeral Chapel in Effingham. She was born on June 12, 1964 in Arlington Heights, the daughter of Larry and Pearl (Kelley) Moehlenkamp. She married Scott L. Sapp on June 12, 2006 in Jamaica. She worked as a supervisor at Kohl's Department Store in Effingham since its opening. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Altamont.
Survivors include her husband Scott...four children, Makenzee Doty and husband Cody of St. Elmo, and Dalton, Nicole and Hunter Buff, all at home...three stepchildren, Scottie Sapp and special friend Amanda Siler of Altamont, Kyleigh Goldstein and husband Austin of Moore, Oklahoma, and Kaleb Sapp of Las Vegas, Nevada...three grandchildren...her parents, Larry and Pearl Moehlenkamp of Stewart, Ohio...brother, Larry Moehlenkamp and wife Laura of Algonquin...and sister, Debbie Sibley and husband Greg of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evalyn Moehlenkamp.
