Carl Richard Paden (69) of rural Toledo

Carl Richard Paden, 69, of rural Toledo died at 6:05pm Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Carl was born August 11, 1944 in Ashmore, Illinois the son of Carl S. and Pauline (Prichard) Paden. He married Linda Coleman July 16, 1965 in Pana, Illinois. Carl attended the New Mercy Worship Center of Mattoon, Illinois, he was a Retired Signalman for the Conrail Railroad and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalman.
Carl leaves his wife, Linda Paden of rural Toledo, Il; five children, Gina Wallace and husband Randy of Windsor, Il, Coral Godby and husband Lance Neoga, IL, Rich Paden and wife Sandy of Pana, IL, Mendy Dunn and husband Tim of Oakland City, IN and Allyson Paden of rural Toledo, IL; one brother, Bud Paden and wife Mary of Logan, AL: one sister, Cathy Luckey and husband Rick of Neoga, IL; Sister-in-law, Deb Embry and husband Lamar of rural Toledo, IL; Brother-in-law, Joe Coleman and wife Annette of Pana, IL; Twenty-two grandchildren; Six great grandchildren and several Nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Connie Gambill, his in-laws and two brothers-in-law.
Carl was a Chicago Bears fan, he enjoyed working on lawnmowers, and his family was his pride and joy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 16, 2013, in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2013, in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery of Janesville, IL. Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
