Jesse Ryan Grandt, age 37 of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of St. Peter, passed away on February 21, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jesse was born on September 3, 1987 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Reggie and Kathy (Dougherty) Grandt. He was raised on a farm with his two older brothers, Justin and Patrick. He attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School throughout his elementary education and then went on to attend South Central High School, graduating in 2006. After a year at Lakeland Community College, he moved to the St. Louis area, where he met the love of his life – Lauren Needham. Jesse and Lauren were married on September 18, 2016 in an outdoor ceremony at the Weingarten near Swansea, Illinois. Several years ago, they relocated to Fort Worth, Texas, where Jesse worked in replacement window sales. Jesse loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, making campfires, doing family outings, reading the Bible, and growing closer to God.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lauren, and his three children: David, Hadassah, and Leah of Fort Worth, Texas; his parents, Reggie and Kathy Grandt of St. Peter, Illinois; brothers, Justin (Christina) Grandt of Limerick, Ireland and Patrick (Bethany) Grandt of Columbia, Illinois; father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Pam Needham of Swansea, Illinois; brothers-in-law, Tyler Needham of Swansea, Illinois, and Brandon Keener of San Diego, California; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Beatrice Grandt and Frances and Mary Jane Dougherty.
