Marlin Harnish, 73, of Altamont, died at 7:18 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home.
There will be no services. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Marlin John Harnish was born on Friday, June 29, 1951 in St. Elmo to Carl and Ella (Bernahl) Harnish. He married Lu Ann ‘Annie’ Kepner on September 8, 1973. He was employed at Beccue Builders and M.B.I. as a cement finisher.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Andrew (Sue) Harnish, Altamont; daughters, Erin (Bill) Denton, Altamont and Ashley (Casey) Feller, St. Elmo; sister-in-law, Cindy Harnish, St. Elmo; niece, Kim Logue, St. Elmo; grandchildren, Adelyn and Linkyn Denton and Nora and Vanden Feller; step grandsons, Aidan and Vance Heiser.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Allen Harnish; nephews, Mike and Jimmy Harnish.
