Barbara Sanderson, 88, of Neoga, Illinois passed away at 9:20 AM Wednesday January 29, 2025 in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.
She was born December 4, 1936 in Trilla, Illinois the daughter of Clarence A. and Edith P. (White) White. She worked as a Supervisor at Kern Manufacturing in Neoga, Illinois. Barbara was an avid Bingo Player and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Diana Claybaugh of Neoga, Illinois, Janet Sanderson of Charleston, Illinois and Bill Sanderson of Neoga, Illinois; grandsons, Benji Sanderson, Shawn Claybaugh (Jennifer); granddaughters, Nikki Jewell (Mark), Lacie Wellbaum (Shaun), Vanessa Banning (Shea), Carrie McKimmy (Gage), Morgan Benevides (Nando), Tori Overton (Graham) and Ally Sanderson; great grandchildren, Skylar, Dakota, Jade, Leah, Anna, Sophia, Shelby, Easton, Warren, McKenzie, Kennedy, Murphy, Knox, Jenna, Kaitlyn, McKenzie and Austin; three great great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry White (Mary), George White (Toni), Larry White and Terry White (Deb); Sister, Pearl Phipps (Tom).
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jesse Sanderson, Jr. son in laws, Scott Claybaugh and Rex Sims; brothers, Bert White and Stanley White; sisters, Dorothy Beals, Eleanor Dick, Norma Clinton, Phyllis Hennon, Kay Bueker and Joyce Collins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family C/O Janet Sanderson.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM until service time in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Burial will be in the Drummond Cemetery in Neoga Township, Illinois.
