Chrishton Alexander Cooley, age 18, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 12:03 AM – Saturday, September 28, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  The burial will be in the Brooks Cemetery north of Newton, Illinois.  Visitation will be held from 1 PM until service time.  In loving memory of Chrishton, memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left by clicking here.

Chrishton was born May 3, 2006, in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of Mary Almedia Cooley.  He enjoyed drawing.

Father – Malachi Vaughn – Edmond, Oklahoma

 Brother- Colten Bierbaum of Newton, Illinois

Sister- Joclyn Cunningham of Sullivan, Illinois 

Stepsister – Hannah Jones of Paris, Illinois

Stepbrother – Cole Jones of Marshall, Illinois

Maternal Grandmother- Doris Facer of Newton, Illinois

Paternal Grandparents- Bob and Betty Jean Cooley of Paris, Illinois     

Special Uncle- Andy Bierbaum of Mahomet, Illinois                                                                                                                                                                  

Chrishton was preceded in death by great grandparents and stepfather David Bierbaum.
