Rob R. McKerrow (86) of Neoga

Rob R. McKerrow 86, of Neoga, Illinois passed away at 2:06 AM Tuesday October 1, 2024 in his residence.
Rob was born June 21, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Glenn W. And Mabel E. (Tjardes) McKerrow. He married Suzanne Klaja January 26, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, Mrs Mckerrow passed away April 12, 2022.
Mr. McKerrow proudly served in the United States Navy and was a great supporter of the Right To Life. He was a member of the St. Mary Of The Assumption Church in Neoga, Illinois; he was Church Sacristan with his wife for many years; a 3rd degree member of The St. Marys Knights Of Columbus in Neoga, Illinois and a 4th Degree member of the Knights Of Columbus in Teutopolis, Illinois and the Effingham County Right To Life. Rob worked in worked as a Building Service Worker at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Anita) McKerrow of Teutopolis, Illinois; grandchildren, Jeremy McKerrow (Adrianna), Travis McKerrow (Lisa), Allyson Paden (Mark), Rob Olmstead (Melissa), Paul Olmstead (Cindy), Monica Carter, Mindy Pinkerton (Jeff), Jordan McKerrow and Brandon McKerrow; thirteen great grandchildren; daughter in law, Mary McKerrow of Toledo, Illinois; brother, Scott (Linda) McKerrow of Mattoon; brother in laws, Robin Klaja of Chicago, Illinois and Bill Klaja (Lisa) of Chicago, Illinois; sister in law, Kathy Russell (Gene) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Kevin McKerrow and Mac McKerrow; daughter, Colleen McKerrow; grandchildren, Michelle McKerrow, Kerrie McKerrow, and Landon Stuckey
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday October 4, 2024 in the St. Mary Of The Assumption Church in Neoga, Illinois. A Knights Of Columbus Rosary will be held at 9:40 AM Friday in the St. Mary Of The Assumption Church of Neoga, Illinois. There will be no public visitation.
Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Trowbridge, Illinois with Military Honors by the Neoga American Legion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Effingham County Right To Life, Honor Flight Network or Priests For Life.
The Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois is assisting the family with arrangements.
