Marybeth Potts (85) of Altamont

Marybeth Potts, 85, of Altamont died at 11:05 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont surrounded by her family.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at St. Clare Catholic Church with Rev. Ron Lorilla officiating. Burial will follow on Thursday, September 5 in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Memorials may be made to St. Clare Catholic Church or Catholic Charities.

Marybeth Adelia Potts was born on Wednesday, July 19, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl E. and Eunice (DeLisle) Alford. She married Harry D. Potts on January 30, 1960 and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1989. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church.

She is survived by: her sons, Harry D. (Denise) Potts, Jr. of Temecula, CA, Robert (Cyndi) E. Potts of Menefee, CA and Raymond C. Potts of Altamont; daughters, Patricia (Michael) M. Wolff of Altamont and Lorraine A. (Doug) Phelps of Moreno Valley, CA; brothers, Edward J. Alford of Mason, TX and Michael P. Alford of Yucca Valley, CA; sister, Jan Rowan of Medford, OR; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
