Barry Hodges (74) of Edgewood

Barry Hodges, age 74, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away the morning of Monday, July 29, 2024 at his home, with his family nearby.

Barry was born on June 22, 1950 in Jasper, Alabama, the son of Clifton and Christine (Drummond) Hodges. He married Nancy M. Depoister on February 21, 1970 in LaClede. Barry was the owner of Hodges Fence. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, drinking coffee with the guys at Beer Port, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hodges of Edgewood; sons, Barry Allen Hodges (wife Julie) of Edgewood and Brock Hodges (wife Laura) of Edgewood; brothers, Travis Hodges and Bobby Wilson (wife Elizabeth) of Jasper, Alabama; sister, Wanda Perdock of Jasper, Alabama; five grandchildren, Brett Hodges (fiance Madison Ely), Allison Hodges (fiancé Ethan Walk), Bryce Hodges, Jace Brown, and Rylee Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Christine Hodges.
