Sheila Renee Honn (72) of Effingham

Sheila Renee Honn, age 72 of Effingham, was called home by God on Monday, July 29th. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Oakridge Memorial Cemetery, Effingham, IL. No visitation will be held. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.

Sheila was born on June 29, 1952, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of Harold Howard and Mary Lou (Reinhardt) Bee. In 1974, Sheila married her soulmate, Doug Honn, and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Sheila loved her family and pets. She was a gifted piano player and shared her talent playing for church services for several years. She enjoyed attending boys and girls basketball games at Effingham High School. Despite her health challenges, Sheila faced every day with courage and a heart full of hope.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of our Lord.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Doug Honn; children, Steve (Anna) Honn, Jami (Gregg) Sparks, Lori (Jereme) Beals and Brandon Honn; grandchildren, Andrew Honn, Seth Honn, Tyler Sparks, Kaylee Sparks, Logan (Keleila) Beals, and Matthew Beals; great grandson – Makhi Beals

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents.
