Harry "Deano" Young (68) of rural Teutopolis

Harry “Deano” Young, 68, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with visitation being held from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Harry’s family.
Harry was born July 12, 1954 in Mattoon, the son of Harry Lucas and Loretta Vera (McClain) Young. He married Faye M. Fearday on October 15, 1977 and together they resided in rural Teutopolis.
Harry spent many years building silos and grain bins and was a past volunteer on the Sigel Fire Department. In his retirement years, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Harry loved telling jokes and helping anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife, Faye of Teutopolis; children, Michael (Sherry) of Lovington, Justin (Kayla) of rural Teutopolis, and Brandy (Michael) Henning of Neoga; grandchildren, Clayton, Rylan, Bryan, Ross, Brianna, and Blake; brothers, Dave (Linda) Young of Sigel, Ray (Sharon) Young of Neoga, Tom (Jane) Young of Sigel, Dennis Young of Effingham, Dana Young of Neoga and Todd Young of Mattoon; sisters, Vera (Larry) Fox of Canton, TX and Sandy Young of Neoga; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Jeremy Young, and sister-in-law, Patricia Young.
