Teresa Joann Hargis, 64, of Farmington, MO, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2022, in Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus, MO.

Tess was born August 9, 1957, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of the late Gloria (nee Klepzig) Buesking and William (Eunice) Buesking of Springfield, MO. Other family members are her sons: Seth (Katherine) Hargis of St. Louis, MO and the late Toby Hargis; siblings: Kathryn (Charles) Sides of DeSoto, MO, Brian Buesking of Dallas, TX and William (Terri) Buesking of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren: Ciara, Courtney, Chelsea, Skyler, Noah and Olivia Hargis and great-grandchildren: Nevaeh and AnnaBell.

Tess was a cosmetologist, as well as a teacher of cosmetology. She had a fun-loving wit and a coordinated charm; she could make conversation with the littlest children to the oldest adults and frequently shared her love of music and gardening. Clever and kind, Tess shared her gifts with everyone. Tess loved and was loved…she will be missed.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson, IL followed by burial in Stewardson Cemetery.
