Judy Louise Baker, age 76, formerly of rural Windsor passed away Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

She was a 1963 graduate of Neoga High School and a member of Gaskill United Methodist Church. For years she worked as a teller at Shelbyville Bank and as a Dental Assistant for Lewis Frazier, DDS both in Neoga, and Effingham. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She always had a smile to share and if you asked anyone to describe her, they would say she’s the sweetest person you ever met.

Judy is survived by her husband, Charles Baker of Windsor; mother, June Morris of Neoga; daughter, Debbie (Baker) Cooper and husband Chuck of Charlotte, NC and Chris Baker and wife Tonia of Windsor; grandchildren, Tyler Cooper and wife Christy of Fredericksburg, VA; Kirsten Cooper and husband Erik of Monroe, NC; Jessica (Baker) Ames of Bristol, UK; Rachel (Cooper) Cromer and husband Jackson of Waxhaw, NC, and 7 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by father: J.W. “Bill” Morris of Windsor and daughter, Angela Baker of Effingham, IL.

Memorial services will be held at Swengel-O’Dell in Neoga, IL Monday, January 24th at 3pm with visitation just prior. Burial will be in Gaskill Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the staff of Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center and Mattoon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
