Joanne Theresa Will (67) of Toledo

Joanne Theresa Will (Toledo, IL) was a devoted wife, caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 at the age of 67.

Joanne was born June 29th, 1954 to Frederick and Leatha (Burgener) Zuber of Ste Marie IL. On Sept 16th 1972 she married her high school sweetheart, Allen J. Will, in Ste Marie IL.

Joanne leaves behind her loving husband Allen, and their seven children, Jeffrey Will (Stephanie) of Nashville, TN, Kristie Goeckner (Dennis) of Altamont, Kimberly Romack (Delwin) of Neoga, Kari Shoemaker (Dustin) of Greenup, Justin Will of Neoga, Kayci Coulibaly (Waly) of Metairie, LA and Kourtney Smyser (Joesph) of Toledo.

Joanne loved spending time gardening, mowing the grass, playing dominos with her sisters, and mostly spending time with her children and 19 grandchildren, Jacob (US Air Force), Makayla (Altamont), Isaac Crow (US Navy), Tessa and Charlie Goeckner (Altamont), Delanie and William Romack (Neoga), Katelyn, Hannah and Joshua Shoemaker (Greenup), Kaden, Kyle, Kaleb and Kelly Will (Neoga), Kamila, Leila, and Nimah Coulibaly (Metairie LA), and Calvin and Fynn Smyser (Toledo). Joanne is also survived by eight of her siblings, Paul Zuber (Linda), Catherine Sullens (David), Virginia Jones (Richard), Ruth Lindley, David Zuber (Terry), Mary Pool, James Zuber (Carol), and John Zuber (Debbie).

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rosemary Compton of Shelbyville, grandson, Gavin Romack of Neoga, and daughter-in-law, Aphrodite Will of Neoga.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at the Toledo Christian Church, Toledo IL. Visitation will be 5-7PM Sunday January 23rd. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, January 24th 2022. Burial services will be held at the Neoga Memorial Cemetery, Neoga IL. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St Louis Children’s Hospital or Cardinal Glennon Hospital.
