Larry Max Kibler age 83, of Newton passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his home.
Funeral services celebrating Larry Max’s life will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Falmouth United Methodist Church with Pastor Jan Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 9th at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton, Illinois. Burial will be in the Brooks Cemetery, Newton, Illinois.
Larry was born on July 4, 1938, in Newton, Illinois the son of Roscoe and Jessie (Babbs) Kibler. On September 23, 1972, Larry married Frances Arlene Pearman in Falmouth, Illinois. They shared thirty-six years together before her death on October 27, 2008. Larry retired from E. R. Moore in Newton, after thirty-plus years of service. For many years, Larry farmed and raised livestock. He retired from farming in 2010. Larry was an active, life-long member of the Falmouth United Methodist Church. Larry served as 4-H leader for the Reisner Sunny Pioneers. He was active in the Jasper County Antique Tractor Club and the Friendly Campers, camping club. In his free time, Larry enjoyed camping, riding his side-by-side and checking the crops. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and Sunday lunches at Granny’s house.
Larry Max will be loved and remembered by his son Eldon Kibler, wife Dawn; daughter Lynn Inyart, husband Sean all of Newton; grandchildren Drew Kibler, Elias Inyart and Emma Inyart all of Newton and step-grandson Michael Inyart of Olney; several nieces and nephews and dear friends Larry and Patty Earnest of Newton.
His parents, wife Frances, sister and brother-in-law Wanda Lee and Floyd Earnest, brother and sister-in-law Herbert and Phyllis Kibler, mother-in-law Eileen Pearman and brother-in-law Roy Pearman preceded him in death.
