Linda Lucille Stuckey, age 83, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 1:20 PM Monday, January 18, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois, with Rick Britton officiating. Burial will be in the Tate Cemetery west of Bogota, Illinois. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service. Linda was born on July 14, 1937, in Bogota, Illinois, the daughter of Norman D. and Delphia P. (Worthey) Foster. Linda worked at Embarras River Basin Agency and retired after 24 years of service. Linda enjoyed cooking, camping, traveling, listen and playing music. Her greatest joy was family gatherings and spending time with family and friends.

Linda is survived by: Her Loving Companion of 33 years – Don Mahaney of Newton, Illinois; Children – Brenda Addis, Beverley Boldrey (special friend Roger Niemerg), Pam (Steve) Utley, Brad Addis (fiancé Sharon Helregel), and Sherri Shamhart all of Newton, Illinois; Betty Nelson of Olney, Illinois; Donald (Denise) Mahaney of Newton, Illinois; Paul Mahaney of Bayfield, Colorado and Kevin Mahaney of Mattoon, Illinois; Sister – Marilyn (Jack) Stuckey of Newton, Illinois; Sister-in-law – Virginia Foster of Haywood, Virginia; Grandchildren – Rewa (Debra) Boldrey, Jessica Boldrey, Dawn Addis, Kara Addis (fiancé Jeff Leesman), Shelby Addis, Jon Utley, Gene (Jenni) Utley, Leah Addis (Kat), Bambi Shamhart, Dan (Mandi) Utley, Stephanie Wagner, Misty Jones, Michael Mahaney, Christina Royse, Elizabeth Mahaney, Shelby Mahaney, Amber Brown, Hunter Nelson and Jennifer Griffith; 14 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-great Grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Diana Addis, granddaughter Shasta Utley, sister Gladys (Carl) Lewis, brothers Gerald Foster and Tony Foster and son-in-law Rusty Shamhart.
